STUDIO
INFORMATION
ATTENDANCE
Students must come to class on time and prepared. Regular attendance
is imperative to the dancer’s progress.
CODE OF CONDUCT:
Please be on time and respectful to teacher, parents
and especially your classmates. Treat each dancer with support, respect
and encouragement. Teachers have the right to dismiss any dancer who
displays unsatisfactory behavior.
COSTUME DEPOSITS
All students are required to pay a $35 costume
deposit toward their costume for the recital. This amount is NON-REFUNDABLE
AFTER NOVEMBER 1ST!! This amount will them be applied toward the final
fees due.
REGISTRATION FEE
All students will be required to pay a one time
$20 registration fee due at registration.
CLASS PLACEMENT
Students are placed in class according to their
age, ability and experience. One or all may apply when placing the
dancers in the appropriate class level.
CLASS OBSERVATION
All three studios have viewing windows, however,
windows will be open to viewing on the last day of each month only!!
MAKE UP CLASSES
If classes are missed due to inclement weather
or are cancelled by the studio, these will be made up on a different
day which will be posted in the Monthly Newsletter one month PRIOR
to the date of the make up lesson.
INSURANCE
All students must be covered under their own family
insurance policy. Should an injury occur, it is understood that the
student’s own policy is your only source of reimbursement.
WAITING ROOM
Feel free to wait in the studio while your child
is in class. All children in waiting room MUST have a parent with
them. At times, the waiting area is very full and we WILL NOT be responsible
for watching any children. THANK YOU!!
STUDIO RULES
No food, soda, candy or gum in the studio or waiting
areas. Water is okay!
Label all your personal items…shoes, bags, etc. We are not responsible
for lost or stolen items.
No street shoes allowed in the dance studio
Please us the cubbies for storing your shoes and clothes.
Hair pulled back and out of face
Dancers are to be picked up promptly following class.
All tuition, costume and special event fees are non-refundable.
Please do not open studio doors while a class is in progress
PAYMENTS
Monthly payments are due by the 10th or a late
fee of $10 will be incurred on your account. Lessons will be suspended
for accounts 60 past due.
TUITION BOX
Please place all payments in the check box with
day and time of class written on the check. All cash needs to put
into the CASH ONLY box. Please fill out the form with the cash. Please
ask for a receipt immediately with the cash. THANK YOU!
Pictures…
Buckley photography Studio will be photographing
all classes in March or April. More info later!
Videotaping….
Complete Video will professionally tape both performances
and order forms will be available prior to the show.
Parking….
Parking on the street is fine anywhere downtown
but be aware they may ticket after two hours. Parking in the bank
lot should be fine after their business hours.

Lost and Found….
All items will be placed in a bin by the desk.
All items will be taken to Goodwill during Winter break and at the
end of the year! Keep track of your stuff!!!
First Night of Class….
Please arrive a few minutes early to get familiar
with the studio and get changed. If you have any questions about which
room your lass will be in, please ask at the desk. Please wait in
the waiting area until the teacher comes out and introduces herself.
She will then bring the class in and begin. Parents are not allowed
in the studio, please prepare your child for this prior to class. You are more than welcome to watch through the windows. If you have
a combo class, the teacher will let them out half way through and
shoes will be changed. Once class is over, you are free to leave!!
Your teacher will take weekly attendance in class. If you know you
will be absent from class, please email or call the studio so we can
let your teacher know. Thank you for your cooperation!
Snow Days…
If the Eau Claire School District cancels school
for weather related reasons, we will also close the studio. Same applies
for the Chippewa Falls school district. If you are unsure, please
call the studio for further information. These classes will be made
up at a later date. You will know one month prior to the make up day.

Show Dates and Dress Rehearsal….
The show will be held at Eau Claire Memorial High
School on Sunday, May 18th at 12:00, 3:00 and 6:00. Most students will dance
in one show only. Dress Rehearsal will take place the Saturday before,
May 17th. You will be scheduled for a 30 minute slot and that will
be your dress rehearsal. You will receive this information in April.
After your class has rehearsed, you are free to go. It is a rather
fast process on Saturday. During rehearsal, you are asked to wear
your entire costume excluding tights. Headpieces need to be attached
to see if they will stay on, etc. You will receive detailed information
prior to the show and rehearsal.
Class Withdrawal….
You are responsible for all aspects of class participation
unless a class withdrawal form is received and entered in the computer.
These are available at the front desk. Once we have received it, any
refunds will be issued with in one month. You are responsible for
all fees incurred up to that point. Tuition is non refundable. If
you withdraw on the 3rd of a month, you are responsible for that month’s
tuition. Tuition is posted on the 1st, and cannot be changed after
that date. Final date to withdraw and receive your full Costume Deposit,
is November 1st. After this date, you are responsible for all fees,
even if not in attendance.

Each month I will print a newsletter with all the
month’s info. Please be sure to check the website or pick one
up.

Attire and Etiquette for Class…
Ballet – All ballet classes
must wear tights and a leotard, no exceptions. Any color I fine, but
pink ballet shoes are required and hair pulled back.
Jazz – Please no baggy
clothes, tighter fitting pants and tops, black jazz shoes are required…no
Dance Sneakers…hair pulled back.
Tap – Comfy clothing that
allows you to move freely, black taps and hair pulled back.
Hip Hop – Loose, baggy
clothing recommended, clean sneakers and hair pulled back. No Jeans.
Lyrical – Same as jazz,
shoes to be determined in class.
Combo Classes – All 3-6
year old combo classes please wear clothing that is comfy and FUN!!
Tights, leotards, Barbie wear are all great!! Hair pulled back. Pink
ballet shoes and black tap and jazz shoes.
Any student not dressed appropriately, will be
asked to sit out during class.
Talking or goofing around in class is not acceptable, please respect
your teacher and class. Parents, please do not open the door during
class unless it is an emergency. Thank you for your compliance!
Lesson Fees, Payments and Deposits…
All lesson fees are due the first week of the month.
You may either pay at the studio or mail it. A basket is at the desk
for payments. You will be charged a late fee of $10 after the 15th
of the month. During the year, each student will have 35 lessons.
This will be split during 9 months. Some months may have 3, 4 or 5
weeks, but you will be charged a flat rate of $32 per month, as those
weeks are evened out over the next. The only month that is pro-rated
is December. Tuition will be $24.00 for this month. All rehearsals
and picture sessions are included in the 35 lessons schedule. You
are responsible for all lessons whether attended or not. If the studio
cancels the class, it will be made up at a later date. Tuition is
$32 per month. Tuition is non refundable. The costume deposit of $35
is non-refundable after November 1st. Costumes are discussed and ordered
during Nov. They will be ordered with room for growth. Also, most
costumes will require some sewing, sizes are general! Balance of costumes
will be mailed in January and due in February. They will be handed
out in March. Tights are part of the cost!
Shoes and Merchandise….
All dance merchandise can be purchased or ordered
at the studio. Order forms are located near Studio C. Please allow
4 weeks for delivery. Merchandise cannot be ordered unless payment
accompanies the order. You do not need shoes the first few weeks.
A lot of used shoes come in during the first couple of weeks, so if
you would like to wait you can. Shoes are also sold at Payless and
Wal Mart.
Returned Checks/Non Payment…
All returned checks are subject to a $25 fee. This
will be added to your account and balance is due before lessons can
be resumed. If a balance is left unpaid, student will not be able
to participate until balance is paid in full.
