ECSOD Perform!

If you LOVE to PERFORM, this is the place for you!

ECSOD Perform! offers dancers (ages 7 and up) the opportunity to perform at various local events as well as compete at one dance competition in the spring. Emphasis is placed on correct technique, discipline, performance, and teamwork. Higher expectations are placed on dancers in ECSOD Perform!, and extra practices may be required.

Classes run September through May. Dancers are also required to perform in our Winter Dance Showcase as well as our end-of-the-season Eau Claire School of Dance show held in May.
 

Performance Team Descriptions

Hip Hop Performance Team
(Ages 7 and Up)
Dancers meet once a week for 1 hour. Dancers learn the latest and greatest in hip hop moves from various styles of hip hop dance. This fun group is high-energy and athleting and focuses on the importance of teamwork.

Jazz Performance Team
(Ages 7 and Up)
Dancers meet once a week for 1 hour and work intensly on Jazz technique and style. Dancers enjoy upbeat music, exciting moves and a fun classroom environment. Team members gain a stronger understanding of precision, dynamics and teamwork.

Tap Performance Team
(Ages 7 and Up)
Dancers meet once a week for 1 hour and focus on tap technique and rhythm. Team members gain a stronger understanding of musicality and articulation of tap sounds.

Lyrical Performance Team
(Ages 7 and Up)
Dancers meet once a week for 1 hour. Performance Lyrical requires a very strong ballet base. Dancers work on bringing grace, fluidity, and storytelling to their performance.

Musical Theatre Performance Team
(Ages 7 and Up)
Dancers meet once a week for 1 hour. Dancers combine acting, dancing, and lip-synching to create a fun theatrical, dramatic performance!

Ballet Performance Team
(Ages 7 and Up)
Dancers meet once a week for 1 hour and focus intensely on ballet technique. Ballet is extremely disciplined and requires a high level of focus and commitment.
